René Arnoux and Gilles Vileneuve, French Grand Prix 1979

A legendary battle was fought out at the French Grand Prix, at Dijon in 1979.
Rene Arnoux driving the Renault RS10 and Gilles Villeneuve in the Ferrari 312T4 swapped position furiously over the last two laps.
Has there ever been a greater battle for second place? The race was won by Jean-Pierre Jabouille in the other Renault RS 10, claiming the first ever victory in Formula 1 for a car with a Turbo engine.
Of course no one remember that Jabouille won, they just remeber the mega fight between Villeneuve and Arnoux. Both champs in my book.

Hi
I just recently finished a sketch of this; you can see it on my blog at:

What do you think?
Cheers!
