Abarth. The Scorpions Tale
This is a zippy trailer about an upcoming documentary about the legendary Italian racing brand Abarth. Abarth is set to tell its story, from its establishment in 1949 by Karl Alberto Abarth to its golden age in the 60s until its recent relaunch in 2007.
The film we be a reminder of the The Abarth philosophy: speed, shape, size and spirit.
Lets hope the film also includes a good close look at some of my favourite Abarth machines like the Fiat 124 Abarth and Fiat 131Abarth Rally cars from the 1970s.
The famous Scorpion brand has undergone a huge surge in popularity since the release of the Abarth Grande Punto and the Abarth 500. The current Abarth 500 is of course based on the retro inspired Fiat 500, the spiritual success to the cult car that first began production in1957.
