Martini Racing Website

The red, white and blue MARTINI stripes have to be one of the most evocative liveries in motor sport history.

What I didn’t know is that last year MARTINI celebrated 40 years in motorsport.

Back in 1968 MARTINI first sponsored a Porsche 906 at Hockenheim and since that time MARTINI has been associated with an illustrious list of teams including Brabham, Alfa Romeo and Lotus in Formula 1, Porsche in the World Sportscar Championship, Le Mans, World Rallying and the German Touring Car Championship and Lancia and Ford in both the World Rally Championship and Endurance Racing

What a joy it is to see a brand recognise the long term value inherent in their motor sport sponsorships and create a website as part of their 40 year motorsport celebrations.

The website is a beautiful showcase of the brands motorsport legacy and lets you explore legendary cars including the Porsche 917, Lancia 037 and Brabham BT 44B.

MARTINI drivers are profiled including Mario Andretti, Riccardo Patrese and Jacky Ickx and there is a Screening Room featuring some great photos with some rather lame videos.

All in all a good effort. There should be more of it.
