2011 Vets MXdN set for Farleigh Castle

The 2011 Vets Motocross Des Nations will be held at Farleight Castle on September 24-25, 2011.

A huge line up of  former greats  are confirmed including  Dave Thorpe, Shayne King, Josh Coppins, Darryl King, Gordon Crockard, Rikki Priest, Neil Prince, Werner De Wit, Greg Hanson, and Ryan Hunt.

The world famous venue will feature a number of classes as per below

1 – Twinshock A Unlimited cc
2 – Twinshock B Unlimited cc
3 – Twinshock Over 50
4 – Evo 125/500 cc
5 – Evo 250 cc
6 – International Vets Cup Modern
7a – Twinshock 4 Stroke

7b – Evo Pre 85 Unlimited cc

8 – Pre 83 125 cc (Entries close 1st July this class only)

9 – MXdN

Event organiser, Dave King, expects the Vets MXdN to be the major Motocross event on the British calendar behind the Maxxis British MX Championship events for 2010.

With 11 teams from around the world competing, the event is assured of international attention.

Farleigh Castle is to Motocross as Monaco is to Formula 1, and many a round of the 500cc World Championship was held at the circuit during the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Motorcycling Australia (MA) is calling for expressions of interest from riders interested in competing at the 2011 Veterans Motocross of Nations (Vets MXdN)

The expression of interest form is available to download from the MA website at: www.ma.org.au/forms, and applications close COB 15 March 2011.
