    Yikes…. Now love my roll cage, new helmet and new HANS device even more.

    They were different days and times closer to ‘the’ wars had a different attitude to life, but in our regulated, sanitised world some of that footage was pretty scary.

    I grew up in a house behind the Brooklands banking. You can image the stories we heard and told about pre-war crashes. Doubt many were true but it didn’t stop us searching the woods for cars and limbs.
