Martin Brundle drives the legendary Maserati 250f

Submitted by on November 22, 2011

In this clip Martin Brundle drives the legendary Maserati 250F as part of Silverstone’s 60th Anniversary celebrations back in 2008.

The Maserati 250F was part of the 2.5 litre Formula 1 era and raced between 1954 and 1960. The car won a total of eight grand prix in the hands of Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss . Fangio drove a 250F to two victories in 1954, before finishing the season as World Champion for Mercedes Benz. He won the World Championship again in 1957,  this time spending the entire season in the mighty Italian machine.  Just 26 examples were made and today, assuming you could get your hands on one, you would likely need to find around $3 million.
