The guys from Cycle World magazine head out into the desert near Lone Pine, California, to make a western about the Hammarhead Jack Pine Triumph; a desert sled that looks to motorcycling’s heritage to recapture the spirit and feel of the mad old monsters.
They uncover the story of how it came about, and why, interviewing James Loughead and putting it through its paces (or being put through their paces by it) scrambling around the picturesque desert and gravel roads of Lone Pine.
