Designed for the 1967 Formula One season by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe and raced by greats like Jim Clark and Graham Hill, the Lotus 49 is an incredible machine. In this video, ex-Formula One driver Tiff Needell tells its story before taking a spin and waxing lyrical about driving such a marvelous piece of Formula One history. It’s packed with interesting interviews and classic footage from its design and racing history, and is a brilliant watch.
