Submitted by on October 10, 2014

Jaguar XJR 15 A field of 1/2 million pound Jags, Murray Walker commentating and drivers with names like Warwick, Brabham, Needell, Euser and Wolleck. This was the 1991 Monaco Grand Prix Jaguar XJR 15 race.

…and what a spectacle it was! 16 wealthy privateers lending £8m worth of Jaguars to professional drivers so that they could battle it out for glory in the Jaguar Intercontinental Challenge. Adding a little extra flair to the mix was the fact that Jaguar XJR 15 owner and music producer Matt Aitken had decided to pilot his machine himself.
