In 1989 Tiff Needell raced this Group A Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth in the British Touring Car Championship. He did a fine job of it too, winning the fourth round of the series at Donington Park, driving for Labatt’s Team with Laurence Bristow.
In the video, he takes us through the evolution of the standard Sierra RS Cosworth through to his Group A race car. He then hops in and takes it for a spin to talk more about the car and its driving qualities. And he does it with his quality Tiff flair, teetering on the raggedy edge and enjoying plenty of opposite lock.
