To celebrate our stand at the Top Gear Festival at Sydney Motorsport Park on 9-10 March, we are giving away 10 Lotus 72 replicas valued at $150 each. Terms and Conditions * Terms and Conditions for the “10 Lotus 72 1:18 Models:” 1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entries not completed in accordance with these conditions are ineligible and by entering, entrants accept these conditions. 2. Entry is open residents anywhere in the world who fulfill the entry requirements, except directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoters, its related bodies corporate, prize suppliers and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee, officer or contractor. 3. The competition begins on 5/3/2013 and closes at 5pm (AEST) on 19/3/2013 (Competition Period). Terms: 4. To enter, entrants must complete the following during the Competition Period: a. Fully complete and submit their online entry at the computerised registration system by answering the following question: “who is the greatest racing driver of all time?" 5. Entrants may only enter the competition once. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Competition Period. The Promoters accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, theft, destruction or otherwise. 6. Entries not fully complying with these conditions of entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will be individually judged (by a panel appointed by the Promoters) based on, among other things, literary and creative merit. The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. 7. All entries become the property of the Promoters and will not be returned to the entrant. Each statement must be the entrant’s original work. 8. By entering this competition entrants: a. Consent to the Promoters making copies of or publishing the whole or any part of their entry (including the “25 words or less” statement) and otherwise exploiting the entry and any rights in relation to the entry, to publicise this competition or for any other purposes; and b. Gurantee to undertake to the Promoters that their entry is not, and its use by the Promoters will not be, in breach of any third party intellectual property rights. 9. The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win a Louts 72 1:18 Models valued at A$150 The winning entry will be chosen no later than 19/3/2013 5pm AEST. The prize includes delivery of the model (within 14 days from the winner being successfully contacted by the Promoters to the address stipulated in the entrant’s online entry. The winner must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoters using their name and image in promotional material. 10. The winner will be notified by email and phone two working days after the winning entry has been selected. By entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published. The winners name will be published on www.motorsportretro.com 11. The Promoters may require the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. 12. The Promoters reserve the right to validate and check the authenticity of entries and may, in their sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process, entrants using automated entry software or any other mechanism or electronic means to automatically enter the competition repeatedly, tamper with or benefit from any tampering with the operation of the competition or act in violation of these conditions, act in a disruptive manner, act with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person or engages in any unfair or illegal practices will be disqualified from winning the competition 13. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other products. In the event for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoters then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. The Promoters accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoters may substitute for that prize another item of equal or higher value and/or specification as determined by the Promoters. 14. The prize must be claimed by 19/3/2013. If the prize remains unclaimed by that date, the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoters reserve the right to distribute the prize to the next best valid entry. 15. The Promoters and associated agencies and companies inclusive of employees will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 16. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoters and associated agencies companies and employees will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes. 17. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoters which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoters may in their sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries. 18. The Promoters accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values. 20. All entries will be the property of the Promoters. If you do not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoters may determine you are ineligible to enter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoters for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoters may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants. By entering this competition, entrants consent to the storage of their personal information on the Promoters database and the Promotors may use this information for future marketing purposes regarding their products, including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging. By entering this competition, entrants consent to receiving email messages from the Promoters. The entrant will be automatically subscribed to Motorsport Retro.com, and will receive promotional information and email communications from Motorsport Retro.com. The entrant will also receive a Motorsport Retro.com weekly newsletter containing motorsport news and information. The Promoters are bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 and the Spam Act. Entrants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoters at the address below. 21.
