There is a bit of Moto-Trials fever going on with the Motorsport Retro.com team of late.
We are excited to be a supporting sponsor of the upcoming Aussie titles and the link up has fueled our interest in the history of the sport.
These awesome amateur shots taken by forum poster “Honda_tlr’s” Dad at the 1982 SSDT are a great reminder of the star riders and bikes of yesteryear.
The riders in these pics include Bernie Schreiber (SWM), Giles Burgat (Fantic), Eddie Lejeune (360 Honda), Yrjo Vesterinen (340 Bultaco), Martin Lampkin (280 SWM) and Steve Saunders (340 Bultaco).

Great pics from the era when trials bikes had actual seats and most riders refrained from wearing gloves in order to maximise feel at the throttle. Looks very cold!
