Colin McRae was one of the fastest and most spectacular drivers to ever put on a helmet. He was the 1991 and 1992 British Rally Champion and in 1995 fulfilled his dream of winning the World Rally Championship, in a Subaru.
The son of five-time British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae and brother of rally driver Alister McRae, Colin won 25 WRC rallies and a gigantic legion of fans with his win or crash, balls out style.
McRae was piloting a helicopter when it crashed in September 2007, killing him, and claiming the lives of his five year old son and two family friends.
