Social media burst into life on Sunday Oct 16 after the horrifying crash that claimed the life of Dan Wheldon.
Here are just a few of the tributes paid to someone who was a good friend of mine, a two-time winner of the Indy 500, and Indycar champion – but I will let others say the words that I can’t find right now. They are more qualified, and say it better than I can. It also shows how much respect Dan had among his colleagues and peers.
Rest in peace Danny boy, we’ll miss you my friend. Everyone please keep the wheldon family in you thoughts and prayers.
