In 1972, Ford rally ace Roger Clark recorded a famous victory in Britain’s RAC Rally to end 12 years of Scandinavian dominance of the event. Driving by day and by night, in dire conditions, Clark fought off the challenges of stars like Stig Blomqvist, Simo Lampinen, Shekhar Mehta, Ove Andersson and the rest to bring his Mk 1 Ford Escort home to win. Greg Strange introduces this special tribute, based on contemporary footage.
