Porsche Motorsport Art by Thierry Nou

Submitted by on April 12, 2012

1971 Monza

With cars and motorsport ingrained into his soul from before he was big enough to sit in a driver’s seat, stand on the clutch and hold the steering wheel at the same time and working now as an accomplished Art Director, Thierry Nou has the perfect pedigree when it comes to creating wonderful motorsport art.

His artistry, skill in design and composition and fascination with cars, motorsport and Porsche combine wonderfully in these works, which highlight the beauty and iconography of Porsche’s wonderful machines, and the classic events they’ve conquered over the years.

Check out the images below, which celebrate Porsche’s victories in events like the 1962 French Grand Prix and 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans, and make sure to head here for his story and more of his collection.

An exhibition of his works can be explored at the Porsche Centre Monaco until the 21st of April, 2011.
