LH SL/R 5000: Torana the Not So Great

Thought at the time to be the last all-Australian Holden, the LH SL/R 5000 Torana was victim to an internal structure that made producing good cars for the local market more than a little difficult.

And its story is an interesting one – ultimately giving us the LX Torana A9X and bringing about significant change in Holden and their relationship with GM. You can check it out in full over at the Shannons Club here.
