In some good news for our Australian readers, Brabham, the story of Australia’s three-time Formula One World Champion and founder of the Brabham racing team, is heading to streaming platform Stan on Friday the 7th of August.

Directed by Ákos Armont, the feature length documentary includes new interviews with the likes of Sir Jackie Stewart, Sir Stirling Moss, John Surtees, Bernie Eccelstone, Ron Dennis, Mark Webber, David Brabham and recently-passed Australian engineering legend Ron Tauranac. It covers Brabham’s career as both a driver and constructor, and delves a little deeper into his family life and relationship with sons David, Geoff and Gary, as well as the impact the media had on his life and career.

With the film initially receiving a somewhat limited release, and all of us spending a little more time indoors in recent days, we’re looking forward to it! Let us know if you’ve seen the film and share your thoughts below.
