From May 6 to 8, the Bosch Hockenheim Historic Jim Clark Revival will take place on the Hockenheimring in Germany. Traditionally, the Bosch Hockenheim Historic is the kick off for Germany’s historic motorsport season.

Fourteen years ago this spectacular event was created in honour of Scottish Formula 1 World Champion Jim Clark, who died on April 7, 1968, in a tragic accident at Hockenheim. It now brings around 500 historic cars to the circuit for three days of historic racing in celebration of the great driver.

Besides the presence of historic Formula 2, no less than five other single seater series will be present. The cars of the Historic Race Car Association represent the legendary junior formulas Ford, Vau, Super Vau and Formula 3. The Raceclub Germany is home to various single-seater categories including Formula 1, Formula 3, Formula 3000 and Formula 5000 cars.

The single seaters of the BOSS GP Racing Series are another crowd puller – a championship open to former Formula 1, Indycar, GP, Auto GP, A1 GP, Superleague Formula or cars from the World Series. In the so called OPEN class, the fastest single-seaters of the past 25 years will enter the track.

Five other racing series are present including historic touring cars, GTs, sports cars and CanAm bangers. Another highlight is the appearance of the Group C Supercup, open to former Group C racers.

Tickets for this not to miss three-day event can be found here. We’ll be at the event to cover the action, so stay tuned to this space for a mega gallery and wrap-up from the 2022 Bosch Hockenheim Historic Jim Clark Revival.
