Video: A Profile of Derek Bell by Murray Walker

At the peak of their sportscar racing domination, Porsche’s works Rothmans team’s boycotted the 1984 24 Hours of Le Mans, due to a disagreement over changes in fuel regulations. A Porsche would go on to win the race anyway, but it left works driver Derek Bell, in the hunt for his fourth Le Mans win, short of a seat for the legendary race.

This short film picks up at that race, and profiles the great Derek Bell during the golden age of sportscar racing.
