Historic Sports Cars & Prototypes from the ’70s from Speed-O-Graphica

Submitted by on June 15, 2018

Marcel Hundscheid from Speed-O-Graphica has been Motorsport Retro’s European correspondent for the past six years, covering major historic motorsport events throughout Europe, such as the Le Mans Classic, Spa Six Hours, Oldtimer Grand Prix, Hockenheim Historic and many more. He’s recently put all of that hard work to paper, publishing ‘Keep the Spirit Alive: Sports Cars & Prototypes from the ’70s’.

Building on his passion for motorsport, Hundscheid registered Speed-O-Graphica as a publishing company and has now designed and published three photo books. His first two cover the historic Formula 1 cars seen around Europe, with his third releasing recently and covering sports cars and prototypes.

Last month his third book registered under ISBN-number 9789082178746 was published. In this book Marcel focussed on the sports cars and prototypes that dominated the ’70s, including the different cars from Lola, Chevron and March to name just a few.

Below we present a short preview about one of the thirty cars that are described to give you an idea how the book looks from the inside.

The 63 page full colour book (English text) is provided with a hard cover and besides photos for each car some history is provided as well as the known chassis number.

For more information about this must-have for sports cars and prototype fans, contact Marcel directly at photo@speed-o-graphica.com or order your copy here.
